Meet the Owner

My name is LaToya, a people and natural hair loving soul, born and raised in Washington, D.C. A passionate searcher for “good vibes only”, and beauty that shines from the inside and out. I am a proud Certified Sisterlocks™ consultant providing part-time services in the DMV area. 

 

My Loc Story began in the summer of 2017 after considering the benefits it would provide for me and my hair condition.  

I have a medical condition called seborrheic dermatitis that requires a great deal of attention and medication used to keep my hair healthy and strong. Sisterlocks™ makes it so much easier for me to control my condition, while at the same time giving me an extra boost in confidence. I can honestly say that it has been the best and most rewarding decision I have made in my entire hair journey. 

 

Now, I want to help others experience the joy, freedom, and versatility that having locs can provide. Whether you choose Sisterlocks™ or Interlocs, my goal is to leave you feeling satisfied and confident that transitioning to locs is the best decision for you. Every crown is unique and you have my professional promise that I will work together with you to develop the best plan for you and your hair.

You can expect that I will listen to you carefully. I will analyze your natural hair and give you my best input and advice. Finally, you can expect that I come with tons of patience. I understand that everyone's hair journey is different and very personal. It is my desire to create a pressure-free zone where you feel open to express your needs and concerns.
